:I stated specifically what I had to change in *my* swap. Of course, there will be changes from engine to engine. :1. Balance Tube maybe :If you dont change the balance tube, you have to plug up some of the vacuum connections to the JDM one. Yeah .. I just used my NA tube. ::4. Oil pressure sender unit should still work :Never said it woudlnt still work. You have to remove it and put it in a new location. I didnt think Id have to explain it in that great a detail... just swap the sneder and its stopper bolt on the other side :::8. A couple of pieces of intake piping ? :Post-turbo intake piping didnt fit correctly, we had to use the USDM stuff Mine did :::9. Flywheel (since the JDMs are automatic, unless you are VERY lucky) not if he already has an auto :Obviously. : :::10. Turbos (unless you want the smaller JDM turbos) not necessarily :DIdnt you read? I said "(unless you want the smaller JDM turbos)". Sure in the 1% chance that you actually get a manual, they will have the larger turbos. Again, I didnt think I had to enter so much detail, use some intuition man! =) :) :::I would also count on having to use some parts from your old engine. I had to replace the TPS and lots of hosing. Even though that part of it isnt because of JDM differences, its to be expected. Also, you REALLY shoudl do a 60k maint when dropping a JDM engine... Big 2nd :Bottom line--and the point I was trying to show--is that dropping in a JDM isnt just as easy as swapping a balance bar...There is alot of effort that will go into getting by snags... Yeah, but it's not as hard as it may seem on the surface. Just a lot of niggling details.
